Community Workshops

The Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments (AMBAG) conducted a series of collaborative community workshops in May 2013 to initiate a regional dialogue about future growth and how we should prioritize future transportation improvements.  Another round of workshops was held in July 2013 to continue the planning process and explore initial scenarios that are based on feedback from the first round of workshops. A third round of workshops was held in March 2014 to review and receive input on the Draft 2035 Moving Forward Monterey Bay Plan.

 

Summary of March 2014 Workshops (Draft Plan)

After the release of the Draft Plan in February 2014, AMBAG hosted a third round of workshops in March 2014. These workshops included an Open House and a Public Hearing. The six community workshops were as follows:
